FOCUS 2012 is almost here and we want you to be a part of it! In fact, not just you, but all your friends as well! All Middle School and High School students are invited to attend this powerful weekend packed with fun, music, engaging teaching, relationships, and service in the Austin community. FOCUS is a highlight of our ministry here at WHPC, so please make plans to join us!
Our theme this year is re:focus. We want to invite you back to the simple truth found in John 17:3 – “Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.” You don’t want to miss it!
For those of you who are new to FOCUS, we spend the weekend in various host homes around the community based on grade and gender. Each home has small group leaders and grow throughout the weekend together. We gather for large group worship, a fun activity on Saturday, and service projects throughout Austin on Saturday morning.
BONUS: It's President's Day weekend, so everyone gets Monday off to recuperate!
COST: $100 if registered by January 23 or $125 if registered later. Registration Deadline: February 6

Great Escape - June 23 - 29
Great Escape is a 5 day summer camp where our youth will meet other Middle Schoolers from all over the country to worship, learn and have fun. You can expect an amazing view, unforgettable adventures, great teaching, outstanding worship, small group and family time where you can dig deeper with your group. Students will be housed in suite style dorms at Western State College. Mornings incldue breakfast, a family group mixer, quiet times, a morning session and worship. Afternoons include lunch, recreation (white water rafting, Crested Butte, ultimate frisbee, shaving cream fight, etc), free time and tournaments. Evenings include dinner, evening sessions, aftermaths, counselor meetings, family time, and lights out.

Saturday, December 3rd, 9:30am-1:30pm. Our middle schoolers will be partnering with Trinity Child Development Center in East Austin to help them put a on a Christmas Fair for their young ones! This is a wonderful opportunity for us to bless entire families in a completely different area of Austin than the one we live in. Bring $3 for pizza for lunch!

JAM
JAM is a dynamic program designed especially for 6th, 7th and 8th grade students. Through music, fun, Biblical teaching and small groups, students will discover the love of Jesus and how we can show love towards God and others. More...
JAM meets every Wed. from 6:00-7:30pm in the Youth room beginning September 7th. See you there!
Sunday School
9:30 a.m. - Join us for a combined Middle and High School class taught by Rick Milvenan in the Youth Room
11:00 a.m - We meet in the Youth Room for fellowship and fun and then move into Ross Hall for a time of teaching and studying the scriptures. For a look at our detailed teaching schedule for the year, click here.
Serve Saturdays
Several times throughout the year we will venture out to serve our neighbors here in Austin. This a great time of fellowship and an opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus to those in need. Check back each month to see what we are up to! Hope you can join us.
