Doug Congdon, Director of High School Ministry
Doug is 28 years old and from Topeka, Kansas. He graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary in May 2009.

While in school in Dallas, Doug worked at Highland Park Presbyterian as a Youth Intern. Doug also loves sports, which led him to head up the Park Cities Basketball League as well as coach middle school volleyball and basketball at St. Mark’s School of Texas.

Doug first knew that he wanted to pursue youth ministry as a result of the incredible impact his own youth pastor had on his life. During his years at Wheaton College as an undergrad, Doug spent his summers working as either a youth intern or a camp counselor. He has loved all of his work in student ministry and feels that God has given him a unique passion and gifts to work with students.

Doug’s passion for Christ, the church and for youth ministry is clearly evident. He has the energy, the enthusiasm, and the attitude to be a great leader of our high school ministry.

AJ is 22 and from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. She graduated from Grove City College in May 2011 with a degree in Communication Studies. In college she was the Chaplain for the Tri-Zeta Sorority and Captain of the Grove City Girls Lacrosse Team.

AJ started pursuing Youth Ministry as a vocation after a summer intern experience in Wetumpka, Alabama where God truly made it clear that He had plans for her working with High School students. She spent the next three years volunteering and working in the youth program at her home church. She started working with WHPC in June of 2011 and has really connected with the High School Girls.

AJ has an obvious passion for sharing the redemptive power of Christ with her students and living out her faith in community with them as an example of the transforming nature of the Love of God in her life.
