Serve in the WHPC Community
Service to others is a part of our commitment to Christ and is vital to our spiritual growth as Christians. Recognizing that all are not gifted in the same way, WHPC provides members many different kinds of opportunities to serve. Opportunities are open to adults of all ages, skilled and unskilled, who are eager to serve and have a willingness to learn and, at the same time, wish to gain a better understanding of themselves. Living in mission with Christ involves each person using their gifts and talents to intentionally impact those in our community, in our church, and the world.

When we begin to understand the way God intended for the Church to minister in the world, we start to see that serving within the Church benefits everyone. We don’t minister only to help others. In joining God in service, we give glory to God and bring Him pleasure. At the same time, we fulfill one of the purposes for which He created us, and we find joy for ourselves in serving.

Please visit each ministry's webpage to learn more about them and to find an area in which you might be called to serve.  Our ministry leaders would love to visit with you to help you connect to one of the many serving opportunities that exist within our church community.
